In Jujutsu Kaisen Manga Chapter 64, the rules for becoming a grade 1 sorcerer are explained.
A sorcerer must be recommended by two grade 1s and then go on missions with another grade 1.
After that, they are tested as semi–grade 1 with a final solo mission to decide their rank.
While playing ping pong, Todo loudly declares that Yuji will walk this path.
He dreams of going on missions with Yuji to get closer to Sukuna’s fingers.
Mei Mei interrupts, reminding him that the one who recommends a sorcerer cannot escort them.
Todo is shocked and upset by this rule.
