Chapter 17

Megumi Fushiguro is walking on campus when he is suddenly stopped by Aoi Todo, a loud and confident third-year student from Kyoto. Without any warning, Todo asks Megumi a very personal question:

“What kind of women do you like?”

Megumi freezes, confused and annoyed.
Why should he share something so private with a complete stranger?

Before he can answer, Nobara Kugisaki jumps in and mocks Megumi for being so awkward about the topic. Her teasing makes him even more irritated.

Aoi Todo then introduces himself properly. He explains that a person’s preferences say a lot about who they truly are. He also makes it clear that he dislikes boring people.

Todo says he hopes to meet someone truly interesting during the Kyoto Goodwill Event, hinting that he’s looking for fighters who stand out.

Megumi doesn’t know what to think of him but one thing is clear:

Todo is unlike anyone he has met before.
